On Thursday 17th March 2011 we conducted the annual general meeting for the P&C. There has been a few changes made this year with Leigh Passfield taking on the role of P&C President, Liz Hart and Greg McClure joint Treasurers and Tom Gillbert keeping the role a secretary along with Jenny Tucker retaining the position of Vice President. The P& C also thanks Jenny McLucas and Kate Harrison for their work in their roles last year and particular mention goes to Melinda Chandler as outgoing President. Special thanks was given on the night to Melinda in acknowledging the extra work she has put into the P&C particularly in driving the corporate governance, accountability, fund raising and community spirit in the school.

I’m sure that everyone will agree that this year’s art show was FANTASTIC. It was terrific to see the children’s eyes light up when they saw their creation displayed so professionally. Many students were heard eagerly asking their parents if they wanted to see their work – they are so very proud of what they’ve achieved.
And so are we. Thanks to our generous parents, we have raised somewhere near $10,000 (accurate figures will be available soon).
Many people are responsible for getting an event like this off the ground. Our thanks must go out to all who have done their bit for the school and their children – you know who you are. THANK YOU.
