ART SHOW DATE CHANGE
Due to classroom workloads around June, we have changed the date of this year’s art show. The new art show date is 30 JULY 2010.

The type of ways that you can help out include:
* Assist classes with producing the artwork;
* Sourcing or donating silent auction & lucky door prizes;
* Dinner event organising (catering, tickets etc.)
The school chook pen is nearly ready for the chooks to move in. Before this can happen we need to make sure that we have people to look after them.

It’s good to be a member of the P&C as it gives you voting rights if you ever want to come to a meeting and participate in the decision making process. According to the P&C rules, memberships must be received and accepted at a prior meeting before you being able to vote. Filling out a form does not mean that you need to come along to meetings or volunteer for anything that you don’t want to do. Also, it’s a bit of a pain, but P&C membership needs to be renewed each year. P&C Membership Application Form - just fill it in and email it to payneroad@bigpond.com or drop it in at the office.
We are putting together the 2010 class lists. These lists are handy for parents to use to contact other class members to arrange play dates, birthday parties, or discuss other issues. These lists contain the children’s name, phone number, and email address.
These are also the email addresses that are added to the P&C email address list. The P&C sends out regular emails to keep parents up-to-date about school events and other interesting information. It is strongly suggested that you subscribe to this email list so that you get the lastest information. If you would like to be on this email list but not on the class lists, please email payneroad@bigpond.com.
We are using the information collected last year as the basis for this year’s lists. We will be sending out this data home for you to change if required. There is no need to send the form back if there are no changes. New families and families who have previously not be on the class lists will be sent home a blank form to complete and return to the school. Class lists for your childs class(es) only will be distributed by email and paper copy this year. Updates will be forwarded via email.
